Macroeconomic conditions have weakened globally over the first half of 2019, especially as far as the manufacturing sector is concerned, driven mainly by uncertainties associated with US-China trade disputes. Spain has been immersed in an intense electoral cycle, which is inconclusive since neither the new national government nor the governments of several autonomous communities have been formed yet.
Therefore, doubts are surfacing regarding the evolution of the Spanish economy and more specifically, the important residential real estate sector. In our presentation, 'Spanish Residential Real Estate, Updated:Is It Still Cemented on Solid Ground?', we update and analyse the leading indicators of the real estate sector to conclude whether or not we should maintain our thesis that the bullish real estate cycle will last longer than expected.
