The United States’ midterm elections have triggered potential domestic and international U.S. policy changes that will shape U.S. policy and U.S. global engagement. In this brief note, we analyse the implications of the U.S. midterm elections and how the elections will impact Europe and the war in Ukraine, future debt and U.S. government budget considerations, relations with China, and pave the way for the 2024 Presidential elections.
