Ignacio holds an MSc in Economics (ICADE), a MA in Law (UNED), an MBA (INSEAD), and a Ph. D. in Medieval History (UNED).
In 2012 he published "The Case for Spain" anticipating against all odds the recovery of the Spanish economy and unleashing a wave of investment from the world's largest private equity firms in Spain.
Ignacio combines decades of solid professional experience in investment banking (Deutsche Bank, UBS) with a proven academic background as Professor of Economics and Finance at IE Business School.
He serves as Chairman of the Advisory Board of Círculo de Empresarios, is the founder of the NGO Financieros sin Fronteras ("Financiers without Borders "), a regular columnist for leading Spanish newspapers, and author of five books on subjects as diverse as the Knights of Templar's banking to the concept of happiness.

Leopoldo Torralba

Leopoldo holds a BA in Economy from the University of Zaragoza, a Master's Degree as a Professional European Financial Analyst from IEAF, and an MBA from IE Business School.
As senior Economist and head of research at Arcano Research, Leopoldo has 25 years of experience. Before joining Arcano in 2015, he worked as an Equity Research Analyst at ACF (Financial Sector Director) and co-headed the Strategic Planning and Management Control Division at Grupo AC. In addition, he is a Professor of Economics and Finance at IE Business School (bank-ing finance). In 2009, he was granted the Everis literary award with Ignacio de la Torre for the essay "¿El final de la crisis?".
