Björn has over ten years of experience from his time in the US Intelligence Community, primarily at the CIA, as an Operations Officer, where he ran operations against some of the most difficult-to-penetrate countries, including North Korea's missile, nuclear and cyber programmes. Before joining Arcano, Björn worked as an innovation manager creating pioneering learning experiences for the continuing education programs at MIT and the University of Chicago. In addition, he founded an EdTech startup educating kids about cybersecurity using comics, books, and video games and has published four books on the topic. Björn received eight CIA awards for his ground-breaking intelligence work at the CIA.
Björn holds an MBA from IE Business School, an MA in Terrorism and Counterterrorism Operations from King's College London, and a BA in Sociology from the University of Michigan.
