Sonia joined Arcano in 2017 as a translator after having worked in Deutsche Bank, AIG, BBVA Research and Wealth Solutions, where she performed publishing and production tasks (mainly editing, proofreading and translation), as well as support work and other administrative duties for the teams. She additionally was a translator and interpreter at the Spanish Ministry of the Interior for eight years.
Sonia has a BA in English Philology from the Universidad Oviedo, and has completed specialisation courses in translation and proofreading, as well as a course on Stock and Financial Markets by the Madrid Stock Exchange and the Faculty of Statistical Studies of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
