Recently released activity data gives us a glimpse of what is happening in Spain in the first stage of the de-confinement process. We have analysed a host of diverse data, trying to capture the main underlying trends. We study traditional and alternative data on economic activity in May, both for Spain and other relevant countries (China, USA and Europe), incorporating indicators from the real estate sector.
