After the almost apocalyptic concerns surrounding the future of the Spanish economy less than a year ago, we are pleased to report that the feared collapse did not materialise, as we had anticipated. In fact, both national and international organisations have already begun revising their GDP growth forecasts for 2023. In this brief note, we explain the reasons behind these upward revisions, and to present our perspective on the Spanish economy not only for the year ahead but also for sustainable growth in the years to come.
