Spain is heading towards a general election to be held on the 23rd of July. In this chartbook, we provide an analysis of the current state of the Spanish economy. We delve into the evolution of key indicators such as consumption, investment, construction, and the foreign sector. Furthermore, we present our perspective on the projected growth and inflation for the period leading up to 2023, independent of the election outcome. In the next few days, we will release two separate notes addressing the potential impacts of the elections.
