The European economy has been severely battered since Covid-19. Following the pandemic, it faced an energy crisis, double-digit inflation, and a 4.5% interest rate hike. It therefore comes as no surprise that eurozone economic growth has been disappointing. However, a series of circumstances are unfolding which will trigger a revival of European economic growth. The green shoots are peeping through. This note analyses these promising signs and explains why European growth is on track to surprise on the upside.
