At Arcano Research, we believe it is a valuable exercise at the beginning of each year to analyse the predictions made over the previous year to see which were right and which were wrong. In this report, we briefly and visually review the major predictions made for last year, detailing where and when each prediction occurred. Some were made at the end of 2022, others during 2023. They cover various topics: the global and local (Spanish) economies (including the respective property sectors), interest rates, and various market segments. At the end of 2023, we published a comprehensive report entitled "Where Will the Global Economy, Real Estate Sector and Markets Be Heading in 2024?", which included our macroeconomic forecasts for 2024.
