The loss of purchasing power in 2021-22 and the impact of rising interest rates has cast a shadow over Spanish growth. In this note we briefly outline our vision of the economy for 2024 and beyond. We will analyse aspects such as developments in employment, future monetary policies and the health of the Spanish economy (measured by factors such as indebtedness) in order to determine whether Spanish growth will continue to overtake European growth. In terms of the political risk, we will discuss whether there are any mechanisms that could mitigate its impact or if it is even a relevant concern at this stage.
